UnpluggedAI does not set any cookies of its own. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking script anywhere on this site.
What this site stores on your device
Instead of cookies, this app uses your browser's local storage (and, for downloaded AI models, Cache Storage — see the offline support note below) to remember things like your language, theme, chat history, and plan status. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere unless you're signed in, in which case your account's chat history syncs to your own Firestore document (see the Privacy Policy).
A service worker (sw.js) also caches this site's own pages and a short allowlist of the code libraries it loads (fonts, the Firebase SDK, the WebLLM library) so the app can open with no internet connection once you've visited it online at least once.
Third-party cookies
Two services this app links out to may set their own cookies, on their own domains, governed by their own policies — not this one:
- Google Sign-In (accounts.google.com) — sets cookies on Google's own domain as part of the sign-in flow.
- Stripe (checkout.stripe.com / buy.stripe.com) — sets cookies on Stripe's own domain when you go to pay for a plan, as part of Stripe's fraud-prevention and checkout systems.
Neither of these cookies is readable by, or shared with, UnpluggedAI.
Managing storage
You can clear this app's local data at any time via your browser's site settings ("Clear browsing data" / "Site settings" → this domain), which removes everything stored locally, including any downloaded AI models.
